About the Role:
Join MADISON RACQUET & SWIM CLUB LLC as a Sports Camp Counselor and make a lasting impact on young athletes! This exciting position offers the chance to inspire and mentor children while fostering a love for sports and teamwork in a fun, engaging environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise daily sports activities for campers aged 6-14.
- Provide instruction in various sports, including tennis, swimming, and team games.
- Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude among campers.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during activities.
- Plan and implement engaging games and competitions.
- Communicate effectively with parents about camper progress and behavior.
- Assist in maintaining equipment and facilities in top condition.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children in a camp or sports setting.
- Strong knowledge of various sports and coaching techniques.
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about youth sports.
- Must be available for the entire camp duration.
- Background check required prior to employment.

Compensation: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
About MRSC
Madison Racquet & Swim Club, MRSC for short, is a semi-private racquet and swim club located in Madison, Connecticut. Since 1975, MRSC has offered the charm and uncommon amenities of a small club in a natural setting that encourages a family fitness spirit. In the summer we offer four outdoor cushioned hard tennis courts, three paddle and pickleball courts and a 25-yard swimming pool. After Labor Day our tennis courts and swimming pool go under air-supported domes giving us full amenities year round including a fitness center and locker rooms.
